Order Lifecycle

When an order is placed, it goes through the following lifecycle:

  • PLACED: The order is created, and credits are reserved for the order.
  • PAID: The invoice is paid. The carbon credits associated with the invoice are to be retired.
  • RETIRING: We are retiring the credits for the order. A retirement certificate is to be generated.
  • COMPLETE: The credits are retired for the order and a retirement certificate is generated. The certificate is accessible through the order details.
  • CANCELLED: The order is cancelled by the user before the payment.
  • FAILED: We could not collect the payment for the invoice. The order is cancelled and the credits are released back to the Erguvan Portfolio.
